The Federal Office of Defense Technology and Procurement ( BWB) has awarded EADS Defence & Security contract for the provision of other basic systems 220 of the German version of the Future Soldier (COMFUT), the "Infanterist der Zukunft" (IdZ BS). This takes place within the immediate acquisition required by the Bundeswehr operations carried out in Afghanistan as a member of the ISAF.
